Want to trade in Brixton? Market pitches available.

Brixton’s iconic street market is a key part of the borough’s rich cultural heritage, offering a diverse range of goods to a wide variety of shoppers.

We are now inviting applications from new traders, to add positively to the existing mix, and increase the market offer.

We are also interested in working with community groups, local organisations, individuals including artisans, designers and makers, and colleges, to provide opportunities for students and budding entrepreneurs to showcase and market test potential goods, products and services.

You can apply to be a casual trader -where you trade on the days you choose from no specific pitch (and subject to a pitch being available on the day) -or to trade from an allocated market pitch all year round, from Monday to Saturday.

We offer incentives for the right applicants such as a ‘first month fee-free’ scheme so you can test out if market trading is for you.

Vacant pitches are listed below -you can ask for a specific pitch, or just apply and if you are accepted, we will place you where we think you will fit in best.

There are great opportunities for the right traders, and we look forward to hearing from you. Please note we are aiming to expand the range of goods on the market rather than duplicating what is already on sale.

We will be accepting applications up until the end of January 2024, or until all pitches are filled.
