Brixton BID provides 80 days of additional cleaning annually to keep our streets clean. We are also working on initiatives and campaigns to tackle street urination.

8 million paper cups are thrown away in the UK everyday. In partnership with Hubbub and First Mile, we launched Brixton’s coffee cup recycling scheme set to convert 95% of cup waste collected back into paper and 5% of plastic for energy recovery.

Brixton BID launched Brixton’s first electric van in collaboration with ZipCar, Cross River Partnership and Lambeth Council. Exclusive for businesses in Brixton to use for their operational needs with discounted rates.
