Distinctive Destination

Brixton BID provides cultural events and additional live entertainment in the public realm, as well as supporting other town centre events. We proactively promote what’s on in Brixton to drive footfall.

Each year we install Christmas Lights and Christmas Tree in Brixton town centre. As part of the event we host a switching on of the lights with live music and press for the local community.

We are committed to the installation of public art, murals and . Previously Brixton BID supported 105 Brixton Design Trail headline projects, exhibitions and events and continue to work with local arts organisations on bringing art to our town centre.

Brixton BID is committed to creating exciting and innovative ways to bring wayfinding to Brixton. Through the production of Brixton destination maps, signage in the public realm and online, we encourage people to explore Brixton.

Brixton BID collaborated with Lambeth Council on the successful application for the Mayor of London’s CEZ funding. The CEZ aims to help attract and support artists and creative businesses and develop skills and jobs for local people in the creative and digital industries.
