Proposed Brixton Hill LTN – Have Your Say!

Lambeth Council are seeking the views of residents and businesses in Brixton Hill on their plans to create a new low traffic neighbourhood scheme in the area. They want to hear your experiences of traveling around the area and share ideas for how it can be improved.

Many local streets are clogged by motor vehicles using them as a shortcut. The LTN aims to reduce traffic on local streets and improve air quality, while encouraging more people to walk, wheel and cycle. As well as improving road safety.

The council also want to make the area more climate friendly. They plan on planting trees and making other changes to prepare for extreme weather caused by climate change, like heavy rain and higher temperatures.

You can find more details about the project for Brixton Hill, here.

Visit the Common Place website and HAVE YOUR SAY now about these planned changes. The closing date is the 4th February 2022, 11:59. The more people involved, the better the needs of the whole community will be reflected, so spread the word.
