ReLondon has been able to offer grants to London-based SMEs (small and medium -sized enterprises), who need support in kickstarting a circular economy pilot. This will be part of their recovery from the Covid-19 pandemic. Successful applicants will receive a grant of either £10,000 or £15,000. Some will also be able to receive 12 hours of one to one support from a ReLondon business advisor. This will be to provide support in the design, delivery and success of their pilot.
ReLondon has created an inspiration guide to help. Explaining what the circular economy is, how businesses could benefit by becoming more circular, and providing ideas for how to put the grant to use to reduce waste. Including how to cut costs and tap into new revenue streams.
Who can apply: Any SME with a circular economy pilot idea that fits with ReLondon’s 5 circular business models can apply. Priority will be given to businesses within hospitality, retail and entertainment sector and BAME or female-led. For more details visit the ReLondon website.
Application closing deadline for circular pilot grants is 18th July. Pilots will run from September/October.
