As one of the only safe spaces that can be accessed by survivors of domestic abuse during social isolation, supermarkets and pharmacies play a crucial role in advertising domestic abuse support services. You can help provide a lifeline to your customers who are isolated at home with an abusive partner or family member by putting these posters up in your premises where they can be clearly seen.
The Gaia Centre’s public message to survivors is below;
Are you experiencing domestic abuse? You are not alone
Survivors of domestic abuse may feel particularly alone and at risk during self-isolation. If you’re in Lambeth the Gaia Centre can help. Confidential advice & support by phone, text or email – whatever’s safest.
