Brixton Village is delighted to announce the launch of Brixton Village Online in partnership with Good Sixty. Together they have created a unique online marketplace for high quality, independent, artisanal groceries, offering local, sustainable, and ethical shopping in one digital space.
Launched on 26th July, the new platform will allow residents within a three-mile radius to shop online at some of Brixton Village’s most beloved food traders. With shoppers now being able to place all of their favourite market foods into one, accessible basket.
To celebrate the launch Brixton Village and Good Sixty will be offering all first time buyers 20% off their first order with the discount code HELLOBRIXTON which will run for the first month. The new site will allow customers to discover and shop from a wide variety of grocery and food products, either having the items delivered directly to their door or to click & collect in-store from selected traders.
Brixton Village is renowned for its huge variety of produce from around the world, representing the multicultural community of the area. The new platform will offer traders the opportunity to expand their customer base and bring the essence of Brixton Village online.
Customers will be able to select a full deli range from the Tapas Rooms, South American and Caribbean fruit and vegetables from Latin Fruit and Veg, fine French cheeses from Cheese & Fizz, and quality meats from Dombey Butchers, one of the longest running butchers in Brixton. A wide range of drinks are also on offer to purchase, including organic and hand selected wines from The Wine Parlour and local spirits from Guzzl.
Diana Nabagereka, General Manager of Brixton Village says: “The launch of the website marks a new era for our traders, allowing them to reach a wider, often convenience led audience with a truly bespoke offering. We are excited to partner with Good Sixty, who share many of the same values as us, including championing the best of the best in the food industry, enabling people to shop more conveniently, ethically and sustainably whilst protecting and enhancing local communities”.

About Good Sixty
Good Sixty is a revolutionary online marketplace that showcases artisan food and drink from the very best independents around the UK, delivering it fresh to customers’ doors by eco-friendly bikes and vans.
Good Sixty’s vision is to help create wealthier, better-connected communities by helping independent markets, food stores and artisan producers to thrive online. The name ‘Good Sixty’ refers to a 2013 study conducted by the Centre for Local Economic Strategies, which found that every £1 spent with a local, independent food producer has a 60% greater economic benefit to the local community, than spending it with a large supermarket.
Founded in Bristol in 2016, Good Sixty now operates in several locations across the UK, including Bath, Exeter, Oxford, Stroud and London.
