Animating Brixton’s Spaces

In early December local visual collective L.E.G. installed a creative lighting display to the London Plane tree in Windrush Square.

Funded by Brixton BID, the installation is intended to bring animation to Windrush Square, an important civic space and a busy and highly visible location for visitors and locals to Brixton.

The creative and technical brains behind the installation are local collective L.E.G who also worked on the Eley Kishimoto X Vans launch at House of Vans last July.

The tree lighting will be in place until the end of January and is intended as a pilot project to explore the idea of future creative installations to animate the Square.
